Purpose

To approve the purchase of one new 26-tonne
bulky bag/fly tipping vehicle.  This is
to replace an existing 18 year old vehicle with a new one, which
has up to date lifting equipment and safety features.   
 
There were no suitable second-hand vehicles
available.  Keeping the old vehicle is
not viable as spare parts are hard to source and vehicle down-time
is impacting the service.
