The Corporate Peer Challenge 2026 Action Plan contained in Appendix A to the report be approved.

REASON

A requirement of having a Corporate Peer Challenge is to publish an action plan within 8 weeks of publication of the report, which was published on 5 June 2026.

ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS CONSIDERED BUT REJECTED AS IDENTIFIED IN THE REPORT

The Local Government Association requires councils to publish the action plan within 8 weeks of publishing the report. The only other option available, not preparing and publishing and action plan, does not comply with the agreement we made in seeking the review.
