To approve the award of the contract for the
provision of Audio-Visual Equipment for the Council Chamber and all
meeting rooms in the new office.
 
To delegate authority to the Director of
Resources in consultation with the Head of Legal & Democratic
Services to finalise the terms and conditions of and enter into
contract with the selected supplier, as per the exempted
appendix.

Reasons for the decision

The Council is moving to a new
office building at Albery House and requires Audio Visual equipment
for the Council Chamber and Meeting Rooms.
 
Under the Procurement Code,
which forms part of the Council’s Constitution, all contract
awards between £100,000 and £250,000 need to be
approved by the relevant Cabinet Member.

Alternative options considered

None given that the equipment
is required to facilitate the Council operating from its new
premises.
