RESOLVED –

That the Council

a)  Noted that for reasons of ill health, Councillor Sukhbir Dhaliwal had not been able to attend a meeting of the authority since 4th December 2024; and to Agreed that the “six-month rule” in respect of councillor attendance be waived in respect of that absence; and

b)  Agreed that, in the event that Councillor Dhaliwal continued to suffer from ill health, his future non-attendance at meetings of the authority be authorised for a period of six months commencing on 27 May 2025 and expiring on 26 November 2025.
