Cabinet authorised the commencement of procurement
of a Water Utilities contract for the operational estate to cover
the period April 2026 to April 2030.

Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of
Climate and Strategic Programmes, in consultation with the
Portfolio holder for Climate, Environment and Transport to approve
the award of the new Water Utilities contract, provided that the
final tender sum did not exceed the estimated cost referred to in
Paragraph 6 of the submitted report by more than 20%.
