Cabinet approved the allocation of Strategic Community
Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds totalling £3,252,943.00 to
the strategic projects listed in Appendix 1 of the submitted
report, and noted the bids not recommended for Strategic CIL
funding in this funding round as outlined in Appendix 2 of that
report;
·
Cabinet approved the allocation of Section 106 funds totalling
£4,742,017.38 to projects listed in Appendix 3 of the
submitted report.

Cabinet approved the addition of the Council delivered projects set
out in Appendices 1 and 3 of the submitted report to the general
fund capital programme, where CIL and/or Section 106 would provide
a funding source for the project.

Cabinet approved the publication of the Infrastructure Funding
Statement 2022/23, which was the annual report of CIL and S106
funds, as set out in Appendix 4 of the submitted report.

Cabinet delegated authority to the:
o
Executive Director of Regeneration, Housing and Environmental
Services, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration
and Development, to review and implement the new processes for
future year allocation of Strategic CIL and the processes for
allocating S106 funding; and
o
Executive Director of Regeneration, Housing and Environmental
Services and the Assistant Chief Executive, in consultation with
the Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development as well as the
Cabinet Member for Communities, Equalities and Culture, to review
and implement the new processes for future year allocation of Local
CIL (paragraphs 3.13 to 3.16 of the submitted report).
