Cabinet approved the proposed new arrangement for
the Council’s Police Team Contract to cover a period of three
years (with an option to break at two years) from 19th October 2023
at a total cost of £824,400 per annum.
·      
Cabinet delegated authority to the Assistant Chief
Executive, in consultation with Lead Member for Safety, to agree
the specification for the new contract and direct award the
contract to the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime for a
Council Police Team to start on 19 October 2023.
