Cabinet noted the content of the Treasury Management Annual Report
2023/24, and associated appendices, and referred the submitted
report to Borough Council.

·      
Cabinet referred the proposed amendments to the Prudential and
Treasury Indicators 2024/25 (Appendix 5 of the submitted report)
and the addition of the use of municipal investment (bond like
instrument) to the Council’s Treasury Management Strategy for
2024/25 described in paragraph 4.5.5 of the submitted report and
those that follow. Cabinet noted that Borough Council would be
asked to approve the following recommendations:

Treasury

Management Strategy 2024/25 Amendment to enable the use of

Community Municipal Investments (CMI) as an option for
financing

delivery of projects within the Climate Emergency Action Plan
