The Senior Officers Committee Independent Panel is convened when needed to investigate proposed disciplinary actions against senior council officers, including the Monitoring Officer and Chief Finance Officer. The panel provides advice, views, and recommendations to the Council regarding proposed courses of action, such as dismissal for reasons of conduct, capability, or other substantial grounds. It consists of two independent individuals and one Cabinet Member.
