Purpose

To provide an update on the changes made to
date in the Planning Service to erode a legacy of backlog, minimise
staff turnover and embed new ways of work and provide a broad
overview across the wider Planning Service including a update on
the progress of the Local Plan.

Decision

The Cabinet:

Agreed on the progress of improvements to the planning service to
date; and
(b) 
Noted and Agreed the position on the
progress of the update to the Local Plan.
