Purpose

Following a notification from the Police of a
charge for a serious offence a combined hackney carriage and
private hire driver’s licence was revoked with immediate
effect on the grounds of public safety in line with the Taxi and
Private Hire Licensing Policy.
 
No alternative options were considered.

To revoke a combined hackney carriage and
private hire driver’s licence.
 
Reason:
Public safety.
