Purpose

This decision implements the introduction of
additional Council Tax premiums following the issue of the Council
Tax (Prescribed Classes of Dwellings and Consequential Amendments)
(England) Regulations 2024 by Government in November 2024.

Decision

That
the Portfolio Holder for Resources approves the Empty Homes and
Second Homes Premium Policy 2025/26 that incorporates the Council
Tax (Prescribed Classes of Dwellings and Consequential Amendments)
(England) Regulations 2024.
 
Reason:
To ensure the policy reflects the changes introduced
by the latest regulations.
