Purpose

To approve the updated Safeguarding Policy
following minor amendments.

Decision

That
the Portfolio Holder for Strategy & Transformation approves the
Safeguarding Policy as attached at Appendix 1 and authorises the
Chief Executive to make minor amendments to this policy to reflect
changes to law, regulation or best practice as needed.
 
Reason:
To ensure the policy is up-to-date and to allow the
Council to expedite any minor changes to the policy in an efficient
manner to ensure that the policy remains legally
compliant.
