Purpose

The Council has a requirement for specialist
economic development advice.
 
In recognition of the need for this to be
complete in a timely manner, the Council’s Section 151
officer granted an exemption to conduct a competitive purchasing
process as it is economically in the best interests of the Council,
to waive the requirements within the Contract Standing Orders.

Decision

To award a contract to Deyton Bell Ltd with a maximum contract value of
£15,000.
 
Reason:
To provide the research, review and analysis
required.
