Purpose
Community Support
require an experienced provider to lead and deliver a Dectached
Outreach Youth programme which will identify and engage those (in
coordination with partners) causing or likely to cause Anti-Social
Behaviour in targeted Hotspot areas to affect
attitudinal/behavioural change, de-escalate ASB and raise awareness
of the impact on victims and communities.
The contract
requirement is to support delivery of an externally funded project
plan approved by the Home Officer Safer Streetd 5 Funding through
the Suffolk Police & Crime Commissioners office.
Tender guidelines
were used for an open tender of the contract. The council will
enter into a 1 year contrat from the date of award, 7th
March 2025, which an ‘potential’ extensions of up to 12
months being fully dependant on further funding being accessed.
The cost will be up
to £43,787.00
Decision
To award the contract to For Children and
Young People.
Reason – the tender submissions
meet the specified requirements and value following competitive
tender evaluations enabling IBC to deliver an externally funded
project plan.
