Purpose

A serious allegation involving a violence
offence has been received by the Council against a combined hackney
carriage/private hire driver. The behaviour exhibited does not
comply with the Councils Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy.
The Council must also consider the safety of passengers and other
road users.

Decision

In considering the potential risk to safety
the decision has been taken to revoke the licence.
