Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council requires 4 x vans to
replace current vehicles.
 
The Crown Commercial Services Framework
Agreement has been used to identify suitable vehicles. This
framework allows a comparison of vehicle specifications, pricing
and selection of the vehicle most appropriate.
 
The decision made was to purchase 4 x Renault
Kangoo electric vans to the required
specification from Renault Retail Group UK Ltd at a total cost of
£65,806.64 + VAT.
 
The purchase will be funded from the capital
budget for fleet replacement.
