Purpose

A serious allegation has been received by the
Council against a combined hackney carriage/private hire driver.
The allegations mean that the driver is not able to meet the
criteria to hold a license within the Councils Private Hire and
Hackney Carriage Policy therefore the drivers combined license was
revoked.
 
No alternative options were considered.
 
The Chair of Licensing and Regulatory
Committee was consulted.

Decision

To revoke the Hackney Carriage/Private Hire
driver’s licence.
 
Reason:
A serious allegation was receieved which meant
the driver failed to meet the critera to hold a licence.
