Purpose

The Portfolio Holder, having regard to the
feedback from the public consultation, is requested not to proceed
with the implementation of the scheme to introduce a system of
charging variable fees for on-street residents parking permits
according to the length of the vehicle to which the permit
relates.

Decision

That the proposals
approved by the Executive in report reference E/24/50 on 11 March
2025 regarding the fees charged and the terms and conditions
relating to the size of parked vehicles within the Ipswich
Residents’ Parking Scheme do not proceed.
 
Reason: Having taken into consideration
the responses of the public consultation on the proposals.
