Purpose

A combined hackney carriage/private hire
driver failed to provide a current medical. The decision has been
taken to immediately suspend the drivers combined hackney
carriage/private hire licence as the driver is
unable to meet the requirements of the
Hackeney Carriage and Private Hire Policy.
 
No alternative options were considered.
 
The Chair of Licensing and Regulatory
Committee has been consulted.

Decision

To suspend the licence with immediate
effect.
 
Reason:
Failure to provide current medical and
therefore the driver does not meet the requirements of the Hackney
Carriage and Private Hire Policy.
