Purpose

Having a professional mediation service
enables the Ipswich Borough Council to be proactive in working with
Ipswich residents to resolve disputes that may occur within some
communities and in some cases lead to tenancy breaches. Following a
procurement Catch 22 was appointed in 2024 for two years with the
option to extend the contract for one year.

Decision

To extend the contract awarded to Catch 22 by
one year at a cost of £11,663.21.
 
Reason:
To provide mediation services.
