Purpose

A procurement exercise has been completed for
external cleaning requirements for the Council’s operational
depot, called Layard House.
 
The procurement was an open competitive
tendering exercise and was advertised on Suffolk e-sourcing and
attracted nine bids.
 
Following an extensive evaluation process, the
successful contractor was Monthind, with the award based on both
price and quality.
 
The value of the contract award was
£5280.00 per annum with a term of 3 years, with the option to
extend for a further 12 months

Decision

To appoint Monthind for £5280.00 per annum with a term
of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
 
Reason:
To provide the external cleaning requirements
for the Council’s operational depot, called Layard House.
