Purpose

The next plot disposal is ready to proceed at
Eastern Gateway and the Council requires to engage an external
legal team to progress the sale and contractual matters.
 
Birketts LLP have
fee quoted to provide the necessary services to the value of
£17,000. Using the agreed schedule of rates through the
RM6240A CCS framework, Lot 2a: General Service Provision –
England and Wales from which they will be appointed directly.
 
This contract will be funded from existing
Capital Budgets associated with the Eastern gateway project.

Decision

To award the work to Birketts LLP for the sum of £17,000.
 
Reason:
To enable the plot sale to progress in a
timely manner.
