Purpose

An open procurement process using Suffolk
e-sourcing was completed for the services of a contractor to
complete an extension and alterations to a property in Southeast
Ipswich.

Decision

The decision was
taken to appoint Mixbrow Construction
in the sum of £122,433.04.
 
This will be funded
from existing Housing Revenue Account budgets. The overall tender
was evaluated on a selection criterion of 60% price and 40%
quality.
 
Alternative options
considered and why rejected:
The successful
contractor provided the most advantageous bid and was able to
demonstrate they had the technical experience to complete the
necessary works.
