Purpose

To consider approving the
closure of Upper Orwell Street North car park to allow its use as a
compound associated with the development of the Central Ipswich
Free School.

Decision

To
approve the closure of the Council’s Upper Orwell Street
(North) car park on 30 September 2024.
 
Reason: To enable the Council
to enter into a lease with the
Department for Education to enable the site to be used as a
contractor’s compound and safety area for demolition
works.
