About

The Economy, Regeneration, Transport and Infrastructure Committee is responsible for overseeing key areas that shape the Isle of Wight's economic future and physical development. This includes driving economic development and regeneration initiatives, supporting businesses, and managing strategic planning. The committee also handles transport planning, highways authority responsibilities, rights of way, car parking, and the Cowes floating bridge. It plays a role in skills development and training, provided these do not fall under the remit of the Children’s Services, Education and Skills Committee.
