About

The Local Pension Board assists the Isle of Wight Council as the Scheme Manager for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). Its primary role is to ensure the scheme is managed effectively and efficiently, in line with LGPS regulations and any requirements set by the Pensions Regulator. The Board's responsibilities include securing compliance with legislation related to the governance and administration of the LGPS for the Isle of Wight Council Pension Fund.
