The Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) advises the Isle of Wight Local Authority on religious education and collective worship in schools. It is legally composed of representatives from various religions, teacher associations, and the Local Authority, along with co-opted members. SACRE's role is to support the effective provision of religious education and collective worship across the council's schools.
