Purpose

Following a period of public consultation,
Cabinet to be asked to adopt three separate Local Cycling and
Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIP) for East Cowes &
Whippingham; Cowes, Gurnard & Northwood; and Brading, Bembridge
& St Helens as Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) that post
adoption can be used as a material consideration in planning
decisions.

Content

That the
‘Bay Area Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure
Plan’, the ‘Bembridge, Brading & St Helens Local
Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan’, and the
‘East Cowes & Whippingham
Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan’ are all
adopted as supplementary planning documents; and
To
further amend and then adopt the Cowes, Northwood & Gurnard
Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) as a
supplementary planning document; and
 
To delegate any final editorial and presentational
changes to the supplementary planning documents to the
Strategic Manager for Planning. These changes will not alter the
meaning of the documents and will be restricted to grammatical,
presentational and typographical errors.
