Purpose

To adopt the Local Cycling and Walking
Infrastructure Plans for the Bay area, adding this to the portfolio
of LCWIP documents. Enabling working with key local, regional and
national stakeholders to be carried out, with a view to securing
resources to delivering infrastructure improvements.

Content

That the LCWIP be approved, and
that work continues with key stakeholders to seek funding to
deliver active travel infrastructure improvements, and to undertake
work with Planning Services to adopt the LCWIP as Supplementary
Planning Documents (SPDs), following the required period of planned
public consultation later this summer.
