About
The Investment Committee is responsible for the investment, administration, and management of the Council's Local Government Pension Fund. It makes key decisions regarding the fund's overall investment strategy, asset allocation, and the appointment of external advisors. The committee monitors fund performance, authorises property acquisitions and sales, and approves policies on environmental, social, and governance considerations. It also reviews actuarial valuations and advises the Council on contribution levels, and decides on the admission and cessation of bodies to the pension fund.
