Purpose

To approve the use of the
ESPO Framework 860_22 Lot 10 Supply of Plastic
Refuse Sacks, to award a two-year contract (with the option
of a one-year extension) for the supply of commercial and domestic
waste and recycling bags.
 

Decision

The
Lead Member has AGREED to approve:
(i)            
The proposed strategy to procure a contract for the production and
supply of disposable waste and recycling bags for the
Council’s domestic and commercial waste and recycling
services using the ESPO Framework 860_22 Lot 10 Supply Of Plastic
Refuse Sacks to conduct a mini competition for an expected total
value £1,800,000 incl. VAT.
(ii)           
The delegation of the award decision to the Executive Director for
Environment and Neighbourhoods.
(iii)         
The delegation of the award decision of the one-year extension, to
the Executive Director for Environment and Neighbourhoods.
