Purpose
A) Penrose Options provide a borough commissioned supported housing service (‘North Kensington Complex Needs Hub Service’). The borough would like to take into consideration an in-contract uplift of £46,309.90 requested by Penrose Options.
B) The Award Report pertaining to the North Kensington Complex Needs Service (KD 06060/22/H/AB) published in March 2022 stated a contract value of £1,137,866 pa. Post approval and pre-contract execution an uplift was negotiated and approved. The final contracted contract value was £1,165,503 pa (+£27,637 pa). The borough would like to take into consideration retrospectively amending KD 06060/22/H/AB to reflect the true contract value.
Decision
The Executive Director has AGREED to:
i. Approve an in-contract uplift requested by Penrose Options for the financial year 2024/25 (backdated to 1 April 2024) for a total value of £46,309.90, to bring the total annual contract value to £1,211,812.90.
ii. Acknowledge the negotiated uplift of £27,637 per annum (£138,185 over the 5-year term of the contract) to the Penrose Options contract following approval of the KD 06060 in March 2022 occurring pre-contract execution, which brought the annual contract value from £1,137,866 to £1,165,503, totalling £5,827,515 over the initial 5-year term of the contract.
