The

assessment of the submitted tenders and recommendations for award
of the contracts.
Decision
Lead Member for
Planning and Public Realm following endorsement by
the Commercial Assurance Panel and Executive Director:
1.
Approved the award of the contract for the provision of Highway
Drainage Works to Cappagh Contractors Construction (London) Ltd for
5 years with an optional extension of 3 years, for an estimated
total contract value over the 8 years of £3m (inc. VAT) and
£2.4m (exc. VAT).
2.
Approved the award of the contract for the provision of Highway
Structures to FM Conway for 5 years with an optional extension of 3
years, for an estimated total contract value over the 8 years of
£1.5m (inc. VAT) and £1.2m (exc. VAT).
3.
Approved the award of the contract for the provision of Highway
Maintenance and Projects to FM Conway for 5 years with an optional
extension of 3 years, for an estimated total contract value over
the 8 years of £68m (inc. VAT) and £54.4m (exc.
VAT).
4.
Approved delegating authority to the Executive Director for
Neighbourhoods and Streets, following consultation with the Lead
Member, to extend the Highway Maintenance and Projects contractor a
