Purpose

To make a variation to the
current Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) contract held with the Council,
and to increase the revised management fee received by the Council
until 31 March 2029.

Decision

The
Lead Member AGREED to:

A contract
variation from 1st May 2025 under which the
Council’s contracted Leisure Operator will become the
Council’s agent for the purpose of collecting income for the
supply of services to the public, as further set out in the
report.
A contract
variation under which the contractual management fee paid to the
Council from 1st May 2025 by its Leisure Operator is reset to a
revised level to reflect the current operation of the service and
the previous recommendation, which will be a net
increase.
Delegate
authority to the Executive Director for Environments and
Neighbourhoods, in consultation with the Lead Member of Property,
Parks, and Leisure, to finalise the revised management fee in
relation to the previous recommendations.
The
Council entering into a Deed of variation with the Leisure Operator
to formalise the approved actions set out above.
