Purpose

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund
(UKSPF) is a central pillar of the UK government’s agenda and
a significant component of its support for places across the UK.
Allocations for the financial year running 2025-26 has been made to
authorities throughout England to support the priorities identified
by Government for this funding. This decision will formally accept
the money from the GLA.
 

Decision

The
Executive Director has AGREED to:
1.   
Accept the offer of up to £457,092 allocated to RBKC for the
identified projects below.
(i)            
£305,209 of capital funding for Growth and Delivery projects
to support the implementation of the local actions plans to support
the high street locations prioritised for improvements through the
Council’s Growth and Delivery Team.
(ii)           
The specific areas and plans include Earls Court and Notting Hill
Gate. £151,883 of revenue funding for the Economic
Development team for funding for supporting front line access to
employment advisers working with residents accessing support
through the Housing and Employment Team (Family and Community
Employment Service).
2.   
Accept the capital and revenue funding and enters into the
associated grant funding agreement with the GLA and that the
Executive Director, in consultation with the Chief Solicitor and
Monitoring Officer formalise the agreement.
