Purpose

Approval of a Fire Remedial
Works Contract across the Social Investment and Property (SIP)
corporate portfolio. This requirement is to ensure RBKC meets its
statutory compliance for fire remedial works. The length of the
contract will be 2 years plus a 1
year additional optional extension (2 years + 1
year).

Approved the Procurement strategy to undertake a further
competition under the RBKC Housing Management Project Union
Framework Agreement - Fire Safety Works, Lot 1 (Fire Stopping,
Compartmentation & Fire Doors) to procure a fire remedial works
contract for a period of 2 years with an option 1 year extension
for the Council’s Social Investment and Property corporate
properties. The expected total value of the contract is
£1,375,000 including VAT (£1,145,833.33 excluding
VAT).
