Purpose

To directly award contracts
supporting vulnerable older residents in RBKC for the following
periods: 
•          
Five contracts for 4 months (1 December 2025 – 31 March
2026)
•          
One contract for 1 month (1 December 2025 – 31 December
2025)
 
These services are currently
delivered by the following organisations:  Octavia, Age UK Kensington and Chelsea and Open
Age. 
 
This direct award is necessary
to conclude the approval and award of contracts following the
conclusion of the procurement for the Older People Day
Opportunities Preventative Services, ensuring smooth and
risk-mitigated transition for all services.

Approved the direct award of five contracts for the
provision of Older People’s Day Opportunities Preventative
Services from 1 December 2025 to 31 March 2026 at the estimated
costs, for a four-month period, as set out in table 1 of the
report.
