Purpose
This decision is seeking
approval to recommission arrangements via a Framework in order to
ensure the continuity of this statutory service. This taxi service
is predominantly used by Children and Young People with SEND to
travel to and from school. There are a
small number of adults who use this service to access Day Services.
This will be jointly procured with Westminster City
Council

Approved the strategy in this report to procure a new Open
Framework for Passenger Transport (Taxis) & Travel Care for
Vulnerable Children, Young People & Adults, to be used by
Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and
Chelsea, for a maximum duration of 8 years (years (three planned iterations: 3 years + 3
years + 2 years).

Approved RBKC entering into an Inter Authority
Agreement with WCC in respect of the Open Framework. WCC will be
the contracting authority for this framework.
