Full council record

Purpose

To extend 7 contracts and 2
grants to existing commissioned providers delivering youth club
activities for a further ten months, up to 31 January 2025. The
current arrangements are due to end on the 31st March 2024. The
commissioned offer includes five youth clubs, two youth hubs, water
sports and outdoor education provision and London Youth
Games.

These extensions will allow the
new statutory guidance for authorities, published in November 2023,
to be incorporated into the new recommissioned services from
February 2025. The extensions will also provide greater opportunity
to continue to develop the new arrangements through consultation
and co production with key stakeholders.
