Purpose

In the autumn statement on 22 November
2023, the Government announced that the 2024/25 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure
(RHL) scheme(Expanded Retail Discount) will be extended for a fifth
year into 2024-25. Full details of the scheme were published on 15
December. The scheme retains the existing scope and provides
eligible properties with 75% relief, up to a cap of £110,000
per business.
 

Decision

The Leader of the Council APPROVED the delivery the
Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Business Rates Relief Scheme for
2024/25 as set out in the Government Guidance without
variation.
