About

Exercising the functions of the Health and Wellbeing Board.   Functions of the Board: ·         To work in an integrated way to improve health and wellbeing and narrow the gaps in inequalities in the borough.

  ·         To collectively make a bigger difference to outcomes for the community than organisations can make individually (as anchor institutions in the borough).

  ·         To work on the delivery of the priorities of the partnership including Kingston’s Health & Wellbeing Strategy.

  ·         To ensure that the needs of the population are assessed through the production of the statutory Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)*

  ·         To ensure that a Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Kingston is developed*, implemented and monitored which reflects the priorities identified in the JSNA

  ·         To provide feedback on the South West London Integrated Care System Plans

  ·         To provide input as required to the performance assessment of the South West London Integrated Care System

  ·         To approve the Better Care Fund Plan*

  ·         To produce and maintain a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment*   *items which must be determined when the Board is meeting as a Committee of the Council.   Note: The SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Futures Plan now goes to the Council’s People Committee.
