Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee is responsible for managing and coordinating the council's overview and scrutiny function. This function acts as a check on Cabinet decisions and reviews how services are delivered to residents. Each year, the committee establishes Scrutiny Panels and temporary single-issue panels to carry out the agreed Scrutiny Work Programme.
