Purpose

Kirklees Council wish to
appoint a valuer for its buyback and housing development programme
on a 2-year contract to provide a number of RICS residential
property, market rental valuations, building surveys, development
site appraisals and general property consultancy advice. Subject to
satisfactory performance which will be monitored against key
performance indicators, the Council may extend the contract for a
further 2 years.
 
We currently have a short-term
6-month contract in place until December 2025. To avoid the timely
exercise of procuring a valuer yearly, Kirklees Council wish to
appoint a valuer on a longer-term contract.

To approve appointment of a
valuer for Kirklees Council buyback and housing development

property valuations, surveys, consultancy advice as well as
development site appraisals where required. To be extended by
further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
