Purpose

This is a decision to undertake procurement of a cashless parking payment solution (pay-by-app/pay-by-phone) to replace the current arrangement, which ends on 31 October 2026. A full procurement process is required to ensure compliance with procurement regulations and to put in place a valid contract for future pay by phone / app services.  Contract to commence when current contractual arrangement ends on 31 October 2026. Work is required to procure and establish future contractual arrangements from that date onwards.

Decision

To undertake a procurement process to secure a new contract for a pay by phone / app provider for parking sessions.

To appoint a provider that meets the requirements of the agreed specification.

To transition from current contract end date to new contract start date and terms and conditions.
