Purpose

The purpose of this report is
to seek Cabinet approval to redesign services and functions as part
of a two phased approach to developing an integrated community
model of support across Kirklees. 
 
The intention is to better
integrate a number of functions in order
to offer a more joined up local service for residents needing
information and support.

RESOLVED –
 

1)   
That the overall approach to integrate currently segregated
community services from across Community and Access Services be
approved.

2)   
That approval be given to commence a service change process to
reduce management and staffing capacity by the required amounts to
achieve integration and savings.
