The Mayor advised Council that he would be
participating in the Great North Run on 10 September 2023 in
support of the Mayor’s charties and would welcome any
sponsorship for the event.
 
The Mayor conveyed best wishes to the England
Women’s Football Team in advance of their participation in
the FIFA World Cup Final on 20 August 2023.
