Purpose

The Council has been awarded
the sum of £392,000 by the Department for Work and Pensions
to provide a supported employment service for residents with
learning difficulties and/or Autism. 
The funds will extend the contract to May 2026.  The existing contract was due to end March
2025.
 
The Council will be matching
in existing staff to the programme.

and to deliver the project.
