Health and Wellbeing Board

The Knowsley Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for assessing local health needs and developing a strategy to improve the health and wellbeing of residents. It oversees the creation and publication of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, ensuring public engagement and consultation.

The Board promotes the strategy's objectives among partners and stakeholders, reviews its relevance, and monitors whether commissioning plans align with it. It also supports integrated working between health and social care providers and holds the local health and wellbeing system accountable for delivering strategic plans and improving outcomes for Knowsley's population.
