The Merseyside Police and Crime Panel scrutinises the work of the Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner. It reviews and makes recommendations on the Commissioner's plans and priorities, including the local policing budget. The Panel also considers complaints about the Commissioner and can hold them to account. Its formal reports and recommendations are publicly available. Members of the public can attend Panel meetings, which are also often livestreamed.
